4. Continuous learning.
He concluded his speech by stating NPTEL’s objective, which is to devise and guide reforms that will transform India into a strong and vibrant knowledge economy.
The session was divided into parallel streams- Group 1 comprised Civil Engineering discipline and Group 2 comprised Core Sciences stream including Physics , Chemistry and ,Mathematics. The session details are stated above .These sessions were followed by a computer lab or practice session in the computer centre for about 2 hours. All the NPTEL courses of Phase 1 were viewed by the participants. There was an overwhelming response of participants in the session, where they mainly viewed the courses on which the lectures were being presented and they also tried to understand the animations, figures and method of uploading the course materials.
