Objectives:
- Objective of the workshop is to generate awareness about availability and accessibility of courses developed in NPTEL so far
- To enhance the quality of engineering education by providing necessary information
- To receive feedback on the quality and user friendliness of the courses developed from the participants

- Prof Sabyasachi Sengupta spoke about successful deployment of NPTEL courses through various engineering colleges of West Bengal University of Technology

- Prof. Mangala Sunder spoke about the background and future direction of NPTEL project
- Prof A K Ray shared his experience of some challenges faced in the earlier days, as he was one of the pioneer members of the project
- Prof. B Bhattacharya shared some data and key statistics of NPTEL

- This workshop focused on five disciplines of engineering education – i.e – Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical and Computer Science
- SMEs from the afore mentioned five disciplines came to have a round table sessions with participants to discuss the following

- Suggestions
